How much is the tax credit awarded to private customers for the purchase of a solar array worth? Am I entitled to a tax credit if I install a solar array to my holiday home? Are there any specific packages available to me to finance the installation of a solar array? Am I eligible for a tax credit even if I don’t pay tax? Why should I not just use this solar-generated electricity, rather than selling it off?

At the present time you buy electricity from your supplier at a price of between 5 and 11 euro cents per kWh. If you install a building-integrated solar array, EDF is contractually bound to purchase the electricity you produce at a price of 58 euro cents per kWh (tariff for 2010) for a period of 20 years, in other words, at 5 to 11 times the price that you currently pay for your electricity!

What is the feed-in tariff for solar-generated electricity?? Which body decides whether a solar array qualifies for the preferential 0.58€/kWh feed-in tariff for building-integrated arrays? Are there any grants available towards the installation of solar arrays?
